The wild, feel-good, high energy surf rock and roll show of Spanish legends is back in Australia this spring.
LOS CORONAS continue their love affair with Australia as they leave a European summer of occasional sunshine, dirty beaches and dozens of club, festival and rock and roll shows for the supreme pleasure of an Australian spring tour. This is their third tour of Australia and they still have not played a Brisbane city show so they have answered the call by accepting the invitation to play not one, but two shows as part of Brisbane Festival 2015. Conveniently this lines up the greatest surf band in the world with the excellent Wave Rock Weekender event on the edge of the West Australian desert which will see the band play next to the giant 270,000,000 year old 110m long 15m wave shaped rock in Hyden Western Australia. And what self-respecting touring rock band doesn’t play Melbourne and Perth – none of them – so LOS CORONAS round out the run with three headline shows in three of Australia’s absolute best rock and roll bars – Gasometer, Mojos and Cherry Bar with righteous rocking supports including FIREBIRD TRIO, STEVE MILLER BAND and DAY OF THE DEAD. LOS CORONAS are a national treasure in Spain so if you like high-energy, hip-shaking rock and roll, the classic sounds of Spain and old school surf music then this trip is for you. Hang on tight!
